Where We Will Stay
Your home in Costa Rica is at Nereus Retreat center- where the rainforest meets the ocean, just outside Puerto Jiménez. Enjoy modern, spacious air-conditioned rooms where you wake up to the sounds of the ocean, howler monkeys, and tropical birds. Food promises to be a feature of your stay – with colorful, plant-forward, local, seasonal chef-prepared meals that can accommodate a variety of diets.
Located in Costa Rica’s famous Osa Peninsula – a region described by National Geographic as one of the most “biologically intense” places on the planet – the area is bookended by the deep blue waters of the Pacific to the west and the Golfo Dulce, or “Sweet Gulf”, to the east. While the Osa comprises only 3 per cent of Costa Rica’s total land area, it is home to more than 50% of the country’s animal and plant species.

We will stay at a nature-immersed sanctuary where the rainforest meets the sea, Nereus Retreat Center.
Nereus is nestled on the revered Osa Peninsula – a region described by National Geographic as one of the most “biologically intense” places on the planet. The vibe is rustic-luxe - villas are arranged around the central swimming pool with direct access to the beach, jungle, saltwater pool and yoga shala.
We’ll be the only group staying there, which means we have the retreat center (and beach!) to ourselves.
Whether you love letting the ocean breeze cool your room or blasting the A/C, the retreat center also offers daily housekeeping, a safe in each room, and complimentary local, organic toiletries.
Leave your yoga mat at home - the yoga shala is well-stocked for any of your yoga practice needs.
The retreat center is a sublime setting to reconnect with your yourself.
